Who We Are

Economic Development Foundation has been helping small businesses access capital since 1981. We are a non-profit organization operating throughout Michigan with a mission to assist businesses in obtaining financing.

Economic Development Foundation - Certified, founded in 1981, is a non profit company dedicated to assisting businesses in obtaining financing. We are happy to finance businesses anywhere in the state of Michigan. We have dedicated staff and a host of volunteers that make the SBA 504 Loan an excellent option for financing capital assets.

EDF has three loan committees to review proposals for financing. The Kalamazoo and Grand Traverse Loan Committees were formed in 2004 and have a regional focus. The third loan committee is located in Grand Rapids, has been operating since EDF's inception and covers the entire state in its scope.
