Jake and Jess DeSanto were both experienced hotel operators from Bemidji, Minnesota. After the success of their first hotel in Bemidji, they decided to purchase their second hotel in Ironwood, Michigan. As a result of this project, they were able to save 10 jobs, create 2 new jobs, increase revenue and decrease expenses at the new Ironwood location.
