Job Growth and Growth in Women's Health Care a Win-Win

Women’s Health Care Specialists, PC moves into a custom designed building in Kalamazoo and adds seven new positions to its staff.

Economic Development Foundation offered a low down payment and fixed rate financing through the Small Business Administration 504 program to Dr. Roger D. Beyer, enabling him to grow his practice and expand his commitment to partnering with his patients in improving their health.

Dr. Beyer started his practice, Women’s Health Care Specialists, PC, specializing in urogynocology and pelvic floor disorders in 1984 and grew it into two leased facilities in Paw Paw and Gull Lake Rd. in Kalamazoo.  When the time came for Dr. Beyer to consolidate his facilities and build a state of the art medical building with increased patient care, Economic Development Foundation was able to assist Dr. Beyer in the move to 7110 Stadium Dr. in Kalamazoo.

Dr. Beyer says, “The people at the EDF were great.  They worked closely with our traditional bankers as well as myself and the process was much smoother than I thought it would be.”  Information on Dr. Beyer’s practice, as well as photos of the new building, can be found at www.DrRogerBeyer.com.

Sandy Bloem, EDF president says, “We are proud to help doctors like Dr. Beyer find the best use of their resources, so that they are able to concentrate on their patients.  The SBA 504 program is a perfect fit for small businesses that want to own their own building.”

The SBA 504 loan is designed to finance the purchase of land, buildings, or equipment with a low down payment and a low fixed rate for up to 20 years.  Economic Development Foundation is a non-profit formed in 1981 that will work with small businesses and partner financial institutions to walk them through the process of getting an US Small Business Administration 504 loan.  Call 616-459-4825 for further information or www.growmichigan.com.
